Hawks prep for G-R soccer campaign

Anchored by a nucleus of nine returnees, Holley is prepping for the Genesee Region League boys soccer season opener at Alexander/Attica on September 12.
The Hawks veteran group includes seniors Lance Babcock, Cavan Bennage, Keon Houghton, Lorenzo Zaragoza, Brendan Trowbridge, Carter McGuire, Ben Cox and juniors Will Kruger and Chris Mosier.
“It’s a good group of guys and we have all the pieces we just have to play together,” said Coach Zach Ritz. “We should be Ok defensively. The key will be scoring goals.”
The Hawks graduation losses included G-R All-Stars Cameron Bates (19 goals, 9 assists) and Drew Carlson.
