Hawks place third at Holley Duals

HOLLEY – Going 6-2 over a busy two days, the host Hawks placed third at the annual Holley Duals Tournament which concluded this afternoon.

Webster Schroeder took top tournament honors with a perfect 8-0 record as Brockport finished second at 7-1.

Rounding out the tourney field, Alden went 5-3, Batavia 4-4, Albion 3-5, Amherst 2-6, Caledonia-Mumford 1-7 and McQuaid 0-8.

Holley defeated McQuaid 84-6, Batavia 43-39, Albion 57-27, Amherst 49-28, Alden 54-32 and Cal-Mum 63-21 but lost to Webster Schroder 53-21 and Brockport 63-19.

Albion defeated Cal-Mum 42-33, McQuaid 54-12 and Amherst 31-30 but also lost to Brockport 69-15, Webster Schroeder 77-6, Alden 53-33 ad Batavia 60-15.

Martin Beadle went 8-0 on the tourney for Holley as Brandon Morrell and Kevin Avery were both 7-1, Nick Shenck 6-2 and Lucas Silvis 5-3.

Aaron Mulroy and Justyn Haines were both 7-1 and Aaron Burnside 6-2 for Albion.
