Hawks net victory over Irish

Sweeping the three singles matches, Holley defeated Notre Dame 4-1 this afternoon to improve to 5-1 in Genesee Region League tennis action.

Corey Winter, Ian Penders and Brady Smith all scored singles wins for Holley. Penders went three sets to clam his key victory.

The Hawks also got a win at second doubles from the team of Brandon Moore and John Rusin.

Host Wheatland-Chili blanked Kendall 5-0 in another G-R match.

In one Niagara-Orleans League match, Newfane nipped Roy-Hart 3-2.5.

Adam Clause had a win at first singles for Roy-Hart which also got wins at first doubles by the duo of Quinn Moreland and Melanie Mikits and at third doubles by the team of Jared Shepard and Jon Eggert.
