A late inning scoring spurt earned Holley a 4-3 victory over North Shore Country Day School in a non league game this morning at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Breaking away from a 2-2 deadlock, the Hawks claimed the win by scoring two runs in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Lucas Silvis and a passed ball.

Silvis had two hits and drove in two runs on the day.

Jon Bower picked up the win on the mounding allowing only two hits in four innings of work.

Now at 1-1, Holley next hosts Byron-Bergen at 4:30 p.m. April 7 in the Genesee Region League opener.
