Holley, Kendall and Lyndonville boys teams will open sectionals on the road
Holley, Kendall and Lyndonville will all open Section V boys basketball playoff competition on the road on Wednesday.
Seeded No. 12 in Class C1, Holley (4-15) will visit No. 5 Sodus (12-5) at 7 p.m.
Kendall (7-13), which is seeded No. 11 in Class C2, will visit Genesee Region League foe No. 6 Wheatland-Chili (14-6) at 7 p.m. W-C downed Kendall 58-41 during the G-R campaign.
In Class D No. 9 Lyndonville (0-19) will visit No. 8 Friendship-Scio (4-16) at 5 p.m. The winner will face top seeded Avoca-Prattsburgh (11-9) in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
