Hawks and Tigers downed in G-R games
Oakfield-Alabama downed Holley 71-56 and Byron-Bergen topped Lyndonville 64-40 in Genesee Region League boys basketball games this evening.
Vinny Golisano and Destin Kuyal both scored 15 and Josh Silpoch 12 for Holley.
Leading by a narrow 29-28 margin at the half, Byron-Bergen used a big 22-6 third period scoring edge to key the win over Lyndonville.
Cody Carlson scored 22 to lead the Bees and Lane Woodworth 22 to pace the Tigers.
