Hawk grapplers win opener
Holley bested visiting Brighton 50-32 this evening in the non league season opening wrestling match for the Hawks.
Nick Shenck (132) and Patrick Purtell (152) both registered sub minute pins for Holley which also got a technical fall victory by Martin Beadle (145) and a decision win by Erik Balys (126).
The Hawks will next host the annual Holley Team Tournament on Saturday with competition beginning at 10 a.m.
The tournament field will include Campbell-Savona, Williamsville North, Eastridge and Akron.
