Having fun learning the basics of soccer

Over 50 elementary school aged youngsters are taking part in the annual Medina Soccer Camp mornings this week at Vets Park. Organized by the Medina boys and girls varsity soccer teams, the camp enables youngsters to learn the basic skills of the game from varsity coaches and players. Each session features the youngsters taking part in a number of skill and agility stations followed by scrimmages. Here youngsters practice a shooting drill.
The soccer ball certainly draws a crowd here as youngsters enjoy participating in a scrimmage to end this morning’s opening day session.
