Green set to compete in Epson Tour championship tournament at Indian Wells

A two time winner during the regular season, Medina’s Melanie Green is looking to cap off an outstanding rookie campaign in strong fashion at this weekend’s Epson Tour championship tournament at Indian Wells, California.

Green who has scored tour wins at the Indian Resort Championship in Michigan and the Guardian Championship in Alabama enters the season ending championship tournament as the tour’s points leader.

Green’s point total to date has already earned her an LPGA Tour Card for the 2026 season.

“This opportunity is one I am very blessed to be in. I’ve enjoyed my time out on the Epson Tour and am looking forward to what lies ahead,” said Green in an Epson story previewing the tournament. “Some of the best parts of this year have been the relationships that I was able to form within the staff and players, so I am looking forward to topping it off with everyone and my family there. And Léo (Medeiros) on the bag again.”

The tournament begins on Thursday and runs through Sunday with the field being cut after Friday’s round.

Green is scheduled to tee off for the first round at 7:48 a.m. (Pacific Coast time) on Thursday.
