Green three-peats as All Conference honoree

Joining an exclusive group, Medina High graduate and University of South Florida junior Melanie Green has earned American Athletic Conference All Conference golf team honors for the third year in a row.
Green becomes just the fourth USF golfer to be named to the All Conference team three times.
She finished fourth at the recent AAC chmpionship tournament.
Green placed in the top 10 8 times during the Bulls 10 match season, She also set a USF season record for the most rounds of par or under with 20.
She is currently ranked 12th in the nation in scoring average at 70.83 and is ranked 39th overall.
“Melanie’s work ethic and mental tenacity make her a force to be rekoned with, ” said USF Coach Erika Brennan on the school’s website. “She’s poised, confident and she wants to win. We are thrilled for her to be named as an All Conference team member.”
Green and her USF teammates will next compete in the NCAA regional tournament.
