Green qualifies for U.S. Women’s Amateur

Medina’s Melanie Green has qualified for next month’s U.S. Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament.
Green shot a 4 under par 68 to earn medalist honors today at a qualifier tournament in Ohio.
Green, who will be a junior at the University of South Florida this fall, participated in the U.S. Women’s Open last month.
The U.S, Women’s Amateur will be held August 8-14 at Chambers Bay, University Place, Washington.
