Green places 6th at Tulsa hosted tourney
Medina High graduate and University of South Florida junior Melanie Green placed sixth at the Dale McNamara Invitational which concluded Tuesday in Oklahoma.
Green had a 54 hole total of one over par 217 after rounds of 73-67-77. She had four birdies on the front nine of her 5 under par round of 67.
USF finished third in the team standings of the tournament which was won by host Tulsa.
The Bulls will wrap up their fall schedule on Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami.
