Green places 6th at AAC golf tournament

Medina High graduate and University of South Florida sophomore Melanie Green placed sixth at the American Athletic Conference golf tournament which concluded today at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Green posted a three day total score of 7 over par 223 on rounds of 75-73-75.
She finished four shots behind the tournament champion Kennedy Pedigo of SMU who had a 3 over par 219 total.
The top 10 finish was Green’s seventh in 10 events this season.
She finishes the season with new USF records of 19 rounds of par or under and a season average of 71.5.
Green led the scorers for South Florida which finished fifth in the team standings.
Tulsa captured the team championship.
