Green places 4th at AAC golf championship

Medina High graduate and University of South Florida freshman Melanie Green tied for fourth place today at the American Athletic Conference golf championship held at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Green finished with a 54 hole total of 220, five off the pace, to lead South Florida to a sixth place finish in the final team standings.
She carded an even par round of 72 during Sunday’s opening round and followed that up with a 73 on Monday and a 75 today.
During her scholastic career at Medina, Green won three Section VI titles and two state championships.
