It was a rough last few second round holes this morning for Medina’s Melanie Green who has missed the cut at the Amundi Evian Championship which is being held at Evian-Les-Bains, France.
When stormy weather caused play to be halted in the second round Friday afternoon Green was 3 over par through 14 holes.
That put her 1 over for the tournament and just 1 shot back of the projected cut line of even par as she had posted a 2 under par 69 during Thursday’s opening round.
However, Green had three bogies and 1 birdie over her final 4 holes this morning to finish with a 5 over par 76 for the round .
She finished the tournament with a 3 over 145 total for her two rounds which was 3 shots over the cut line of even par.
The Amundi Evian Championship is one of the five majors on the LPGA schedule.
