Green is second at Chattanooga Classic

Melanie Green, who is a senior at the University of South Florida, placed second at the Chattanooga Classic Golf Tournament which concluded this afternoon at the Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tn.
Green, a Medina High graduate, posted a total score of 8 under par 205 on rounds of 70-66-69 to finish two shots off the pace.
She had three birdies and 2 bogies on her opening round on Sunday, 7 birdies and 2 bogies for her 5 under par round on Monday and 2 birdies and no bogies today.
Green helped lead USF to a third place finish in the team standings.
Next up for Green and her USF teammates will be the American Athletic Conference Tournament April 15-17 which the Bulls will host.
