Green finishes in a tie for second place at the Epson Tour tournament in Utah

Posting her best Epson Pro Tour finish to date, Medina’s Melanie Green finished in a share of second place at the Copper Rock championship in Utah which wrapped up this afternoon.
Slowed by a bogey and a double bogey, Green posted a 1 over par round of 73 today to finish the three day tournament with a 12 under par total of 204 which was just one shot back of the leader.
Green opened the tournament with a 5 under par round of 67 on Thursday and then shot a sizzling 8 under par round of 64 on Friday to move into a share of the lead.
She had a total of 13 birdies and no bogeys over the first two rounds.
However, she had only 2 birdies today which were not quite enough to offset the bogey and double bogey resulting in the 1 over par round.
The next tourney on the Epson Tour schedule will be in Michigan June 6-8.
