Medina’s Melanie Green capped off an up and down four day tournament run with a sub par round on Sunday (Malaysia time) at the LPGA Tour’s Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The roller coaster tourney saw Green open with a 3 over round of 75, rebound with a 3 under 69, drop back with another 75 and then rebound again on the final round with a 2 under 70 for a final total of 1 over 289.
Her final round mirrored that roller coast ride as she had four bogeys on 1, 5, 10 and 17 but more than offset them with six birdies on 3, 4, 11, 14, 16 amd 18.
Green will now continue her competition on the LPGA Tour’s Far East swing at the TOTO Japan Classic this coming week at Omitama, Japan.
