Green advances at the North & South Tourney

Medina’s Melanie Green has advanced to the match play round of 32 at the North and South Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament being held at Pinehurst Country Club in North Carolina.
Green advanced by posting rounds of 71 and 72 for a 143 total over the tournament’s first two days of stroke play competition Tuesday and today.
She is seeded 15th for the match play competition.
The round of 32 match play will be held on Thursday. Match play will then continue with the second round and quarterfinals on Friday and the semifinals and title matches on Saturday.
