Gophers top Mustangs in soccer opener

Scoring the game’s first four goals, Pavilion went on to defeat Medina/Lyndonville 4-1 this afternoon in a season opening non league boys soccer game at Lyndonville.
Jackson Moreland scored the Mustangs lone goal off an assist from Cole Seefeldt with 13 minutes to go in the second half.
The Mustangs will next host Wilson in the Niagara-Orleans League opener next Wednesday.
Holley Tournament
Alden blanked the host Hawks 3-0 in the championship game of the Holley boys soccer tournament.
In the consolation game, Perry downed Albion 3-1. Ulises Ledesma scored the Purple Eagles goal.
Newark Tournament
Scoring five goals in each half, Livonia downed Kendall 10-0 in the opening round of the Newark Tournament.
