Good start for Medina grad with NCCC cagers

Beginning her collegiate basketball career on a high note, Medina High graduate Rylee VanNostrand was one of six double figure scorers in Niagara Community College’s season opening 106-30 win at Corning Community College on Tuesday.
VanNostrand, a freshman at NCCC, scored 10 points, including a three, and had 2 steals.
During her senior year at Medina, VanNostrand scored 421 points, which is second highest on the Mustangs all-time list.
A first team Niagara-Orleans All-League selection, she also earned Honorable Mention on the All Western New York small schools squad.
VanNostrand also played soccer for NCCC this Fall. She played in five games and scored one goal which was a game winner.
