Good start for Green at Epson Toledo Tourney
Looking to rebound after missing the cut last weekend, Medina’s Melanie Green got off to a good start at today’s rain delayed opening round of the Epson Pro Golf Tour’s Greater Toledo Classic at Toledo, Ohio.
Green, who completed 17 holes before darkness halted play, is currently two under par. She registered birdies on the 3rd and 10th holes.
Rainy weather caused a three hour delay backing up play and leaving a number of players, including Green, on the course when darkness stopped play.
Green will now finish her 18th hole tomorrow morning and then play the second round.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.
