GO ART! announces WNY Art & Wine Festival at Maison Albion on June 5-6

ALBION – Maison Albion and the Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council (GO ART!) are pleased to announce the first-ever Western New York Art and Wine Festival held at the grounds of Maison Albion June 5-6.

The new event will feature regional and national artists of various disciplines with their works exhibited and for purchase. Local wineries will be on hand for tastings in the mansion’s ballroom.

“The GO ART! staff and board are extremely excited to be working with the Maison Albion and the Glovers on this event,” said GO ART! Executive Director Gregory Hallock. “How amazing is it to have such huge supporters of the arts right in our backyard. We cannot wait to show the artists and tourists, coming from near and far, how incredible the arts and culture scene is in Albion and Orleans County. There could not be a more magnificent place to do it than the Maison Albion; cheers to a new adventure that is sure to be an outstanding journey.”

A silent auction benefiting GO ART! will run the length of the event. Guests are encouraged to imagine themselves transported back to Victorian times at a Parisian park as they stroll the breathtaking grounds of Maison Albion. Plein air artists will also be on the grounds capturing the historic mansion and blooming gardens.

“Cultivating and supporting artists and art events in Western New York is so important as part of the mission of Maison Albion,” said Kerri Glover, Maison Albion owner. “We are honored to host this first annual event!”

Tickets for the event are $50 and include a program of artists and passport for wine tastings. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Ticket sales begin Wednesday, April 28, and can be purchased at MaisonAlbion.com. Parking on-site is free.

In compliance with New York State’s Covid-19 guidelines, all attendees must wear a mask, except while eating and drinking. Social distancing protocols will be monitored.
