In a season opening matchup of long time rivals, the GO Tigers (formerly Lyndonville Tigers) dropped a 13-0 decision to the Buffalo Gladiators in a Northeastern Football Alliance game this evening at Orchard Park High School.

Benefitting from five interceptions, the Gladiators scored what proved to be the game winning touchdown in the first quarter and later added an insurance tally in the final stanza.

Now in their 11th season, the Tigers, which had only 20 players on hand for the game, will next visit the Jamestown Chiefs next Saturday.
