Gators stretch run rally nips Rams
Making the long trek to the Southern Tier, Roy-Hart dropped a narrow 57-53 decision at Allegany-Limestone this afternoon in a non league boys basketball game.
Roy-Hart led 30-27 at the half and 43-35 at the three-quarter mark but Allegany-Limestone rallied with a 22-10 fourth quarter scoring edge to claim the win.
The Gators took the lead for good as a three-point basket snapped a 53-53 deadlock.
Dan Aquilina scored 22 and Rem Albee 18 to lead the way for Roy-Hart.
Roy-Hart will next visit Wilson on Friday in the Rams Niagara-Orleans League season opener.
