Gaesser is third at Federation Tourney

Kendall High junior Evan Gaesser is shown here hitting his approach shot on the 18th green at Bethpage Black Golf Course on Saturday during the state Federation Tournament. Gaesser finished third among the public high school golfers who competed in the tournament and fifth overall in the field of 24 golfers. He qualified for the Federation Tournament after placing fourth at the recent state public high school chsmpionships held at Cornell University. Gaesser is a Genesee Regional League All-Star for the third consecutive year. He is also the two-time defending GRAA champion.
