The Genesee Region League pushed across a run in the 10th inning to nip the Niagara-Orleans League 5-4 this evening in the annual Senior Game at Genesee Community College in Batavia.

Kendall’s Richie Swift drove in the game winner for the G-R with a two out single in the 10th.

Trailing 4-1, the G-R had tied the game by scoring three times in the ninth capped off by an RBI single by Lyndonville’s Evan Milleville. An error followed by singles by Lyndonville’s Justin Edwards and Kendall’s Alex Sutphen set up the threat.

Milleville and Sutphen both had two hits on the day.

The N-O built up the 4-1 lead by scoring three times in the eighth inning highlighted by an RBI double by Roy-Hart’s Austin Heschke and a run producing single by Barker’s Alonzo St. Louis who had two hits in the game.
