G-R diamond rivals to meet this week

The three Orleans County Genesee Region rivals will face each other on the diamond this week as Holley will host rival Kendall in softball on Tuesday and baseball on Wednesday while Lyndonville will visit Holley in baseball and Kendall in softball on Friday.

In Niagara-Orleans League baseball action, undefeated (3-0) Medina faces three tests this week as the Mustangs look to keep a hold of at least a share of the Niagara-Orleans League lead. The Mustangs visit Akron Monday and then host Roy-Hart Wednesday and Wilson Friday.

In N-O softball, undefeated (4-0) Roy-Hart faces two challenges this week as the Lady Rams look to hold onto sole possession of first place. The Lady Rams host Albion on Monday and Medina Wedneday.

The undefeated (3-0) defending N-O champion Medina tennis team has home matches against Wilson Monday and Akron Friday and a key trip to 2-1 Albion Wednesday.
