Furmanski leads AnJo Bombers to win

Tom Furmanski from Albion was strong both at the plate and on the rubber in leading the AnJo Bombers 13U to a 9-0 victory over Buffalo Outlaws on Sunday at Cambria Town Park.

Furmanski racked up 4 RBIs on 3 hits for the Bombers. He singled in the first inning, homered in the third, and doubled in the seventh.

Furmanski was in control on the hill holding the Outlaws hitless over four innings. He allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out 5. Nick Cascia combined with Furmanski for a one hitter and 7 Ks overall.

The Bombers scored 2 runs in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with 2 more in the sixth. In the fifth, AnJo Bombers 13U scored on an error, scoring Nick Butera. Rylend Callicutt from Albion kicked things off with a single, bringing home Hunter Babel.
