Fry having big season for Mercyhurst softball

Roy-Hart graduate Maddie Fry is enjoying a very successful senior season as a starting outfielder for the Mercyhurst University softball team.
Fry currently leads Mercyhurst in hitting with a .486 average including 7 doubles, 1 triple, 16 RBI and 33 runs scored.
She has led the Lakers in hitting in each of her first three years with averages of .488. .426 and .505.
Most recently she went 2 for 2 with an RBI and 3 runs scored in Saturday’s 12-2 win over Gannon which improved Mercyhurst’s record to 19-13.
She is majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education.
Local duo homers for NCCC
Roy-Hart grad Shelby Wolf hit two home runs and Barker grad Sydnie Luckman 1 for the NCCC softball team this past week. Both players are hitting over .350 for the Thunderwolves.
