Fry earns league All Star honors

Medina’s Brian Fry, who is in his first season with the Batavia Muckdogs, has been named to the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League midseason All-Star team.
Fry, who is the starting second baseman for the Muckdogs, is currently third in the league in hitting with a .395 batting average.
He has banged out 13 doubles, 2 triples and has 14 RBIs, 30 runs scored and 19 stolen bases for the Muckdogs who are currently leading the league’s West Division.
Fry will be a sophomore at Toledo University this fall where he earned the starting second base position last year as a freshman.
He hit .245 for Toledo with 14 doubles, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
