A frost advisory has been issued overnight from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. for Orleans County and much of Western New York.

Temperatures in the lower 30s will result in frost formation, the National Weather Service in Buffalo advised.

“Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered,” the Weather Service said.

The advisory includes Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Oswego, Jefferson, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.

The forecast the next few days includes sunny and high near 62 on Friday, followed by a partly sunny Saturday with a high near 66, and a mostly sunny Sunday with a high near 58.
