Freezing rain advisory in effect until 7 p.m.

A freezing rain advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. today for several Orleans and several Western New York counties, the National Weather Service reported.
“Freezing rain will result in extremely slippery conditions on untreated surfaces, particularly on bridges and overpasses,” the Weather Service said.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution.
