Fredonia spikers oust Medina; Roy-Hart wins

No. 5 seed Fredonia bested host No. 4 Medina 25-14, 19-25, 25-15, 26-24 this evening in the quarterfinals of the Section VI Class B2 volleyball playoffs.
Maddie Williams had 11 kills and 3 aces, Elle Gross 6 kills and 4 aces, Breanna Islam 5 kills, Devin Griffin 4 kills, Camri King 24 assists and Brandi Guild 10 digs for the Mustangs.
Also in Class B2, No. 2 Springville downed No. 7 Albion in three sets.
Roy-Hart 25-25-25, Lafayette 12-16-17
No. 4 Roy-Hart ousted No. 5 Lafayette 25-12, 25-16, 25-17 in the Class C 1 quarterfinals as Aspen Moore had 20 kills, Kristina Burdick 22 service points, including 3 aces, and 12 assists and Paige Dent 13 assists.
The Lady Rams will face top seed Olmsted in the semis on Monday.
Wilson 25-25-25, Falconer 19-19-15
No. 3 seed Wilson eliminated No. 6 Falconer 25-19, 25-19, 25-15 in the Class C2 quarterfinals as Maddy Seeley had 4 aces, 9 assists and 14 digs, Izzy Dinse 5 kills and 4 blocks, Sarah Nugent 9 kills and Brooke Wisor 13 digs.
