Force booters defeat Medina

Unable to build on an early one goal lead, Medina dropped a 4-1 decision to the undefeated Yemen Force in a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League U19 Division game this evening at Vets Park.

Medina jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Jesse Fergen but the Force answered with two tallies before the half to take the lead for good at 2-1.

The Force then put a lock on the win by scoring two unanswered goals in the second half.

The Yemen Force improves to 6-0 while Medina slips to 2-3-1.

In another U19 Division contest Roy-Hart dropped a narrow 1-0 decision at West Seneca.

U17 Division

KenTon 5, Medina 0

KenTon scored a 5-0 victory in U17 Division action over visiting Medina which slips to 2-3.

Girls Soccer

Albion U17

The Albion U17 girls squad played to a rainy 1-1 tie against Batavia this past Sunday in Rochester District Soccer League action.

Albion took a 1-0 lead early in the second half on a goal by Mikayla Yaskulsk . However, Batavia pulled even on a goal with five minutes remaining.

In their previous game, the Albion U17 squad posted a 2-0 victory over visiting Attica on goals by Yaskulski and Vivian Rivers.

Medina U14
The Lockport Thunder defeated Medina 6-0 Monday in a Buffalo and WNY Soccer League U14 Division girls game.
