Flags at half-mast today for fallen Buffalo police officer

ALBION – The American flag at the Civil War section of Mount Albion Cemetery is shown at half-mast today. The flag was lowered in honor of Buffalo Police K-9 Officer Craig E. Lehner, who died Oct. 13 in an underwater training exercise.
Lehner’s funeral service was held today at the KeyBank Center in one of the largest funerals in the history of Buffalo. Lehner was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo. About 20 law enforcement officers from Orleans County attended the funeral.
