First “Fats” Piedmont season was Super Duper

Contributed Photo – The inaugural Fats Piedmont League season in 1992 saw Super Duper take top honors during both the regular season and playoffs. Super Duper, which took the regular season title with a 9-1 record, added the playoff championship by downing Punch’s Nuts 4-2 in the second and deciding title round cost. Punch’s Nuts sent the playoffs to a deciding second title round game by winning the first contest 6-3. The Super Duper lineup included, in front, Evan Zangerle, Lionel Rhim, Andy Toale, Quincy Newman, Jesse Guthrie and Brandon Pafk. In the back row are Chris Hyde, Jacob Page, Brennan Kwiatkowski, Jim Russo, Jamie Glass, Greg Walker, Jeff Feitshans and Brian Hungerford.
