Finney gridders best Holley

Building up leads of 16-0 at the half and 31-0 after three-quarters, C.G. Finney went on to defeat host Holley 37-14 this afternoon in a non league football game.

Quarterback Nick Passarell accounted for both of Holley’s touchdowns on an 8 yard run and a 22 yard pass to Zach Vaccarelli. He also completed a two-point conversion pass to Stephen Mallett.

For the Holley defense, Luke Silvis had 5 solo tackles and 9 assists and Andrew Rowley 9 tackles and 1 assist. Brandon Kamm also had a fumble recovery while Nick Schenk had a key fourth down tackle to stop an early Finney drive.

Finney is now 2-1 and Holley 0-3.
