Father and son from Rochester charged with stolen car in Albion

ALBION – A father and son were charged last week when they were discovered to be in a stolen vehicle.

Police Chief David Mogle said an Albion police officer on May 26 stopped a vehicle for speeding. During the traffic stop it was determined that the vehicle was reported stolen out by a rental company out of Broome County, NY.

Patrick McMillan, 21, of Rochester was charged with speeding and criminal possession of the stolen weapon in the fourth degree.

His father Marcus McMillan, 38, of Rochester and Binghamton was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. He also is currently wanted by NYS Parole on a Parole Absconder warrant.

Patrick McMillan was processed and released with an appearance ticket according to NYS Bail Reform laws, Mogle said.

Marcus McMillan was processed and released with an appearance ticket according to NYS Bail Reform laws but was transported and held in the Orleans County Jail on the Parole Absconder Warrant.

The Albion Police Department was assisted by the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department and NYS Parole, Mogle said.
