Fast start sparks Rams past Spartans
Building up a commanding 41-18 half-time advantage, Roy-Hart went on to down Starpoint 55-52 in a non league boys basketball game at Niagara County Community College today.
Jamel Johnson Jr. scored 23, Rem Albee 12 and Jayden Swygert and Justin Terwilliger 8 each to spark Roy-Hart which improves to 12-7.
Cohen Vogel scored 13 and Josh Beaver 10 to lead the Spartans.
Johnson Jr. scored 8 and Terwilliger 5 in the opening period to help spark Roy-Hart out to a 21-6 lead.
Johnson Jr. then tallied 10 and Albee 7 in the second quarter as the Rams boosted their advantage to 23, 41-18, at the half.
