Fast start sparks Legion past Albion 15U
A big seven run first inning scoring burst powered Warsaw Legion to a 12-3 win over the Albion 15U team in a GLOW League baseball game this evening at Williams Park in Batavia.
The first inning was an exact reversal for Albion which had used a six run first inning of its own to key a 16-6 win over Elba in Wednesday’s season opener.
Javon Jones had two hits for Albion as Caleb Fox, Cade Wolcott and Chris Sacco each added one and one RBI.
Now at 1-1, Albino next faces GLOW at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Williams Park.
