Fast start sparks Irish past Lady Tigers

Jumping out to a 19-5 first quarter lead, Notre Dame went on to defeat host Lyndonville 57-31 this evening in a Genesee Region League game.

Morgan Rhodes scored 9 and Amelia McCulley 8, both including a pair of threes. to spark the Irish in the opening period.

McCulley finished with  17 and Rhodes 12 for the Irish which led 32-15 at the half and 42-19 at the three-quarter mark.

Lorelei Dillenbeck took game high honors for Lyndonvile with 18, including four threes, as Ella Lewis had 6, Kaylee Nesbitt 4 and Karlee Rounds 3.

Attica 46, Holley 30
Leading by only five, 21-16, at the half, Attica used a 12-6 third period scoring edge to key a 46-30 G-R win over visiting Holley.

Halee Passarell scored 12 for Holley which trailed 33-22 after three quarters.

Alexander 59, Albion 37
Alexander built up a 39-26 half-time advantage and went on to defeat visiting Albion 59-37 in a non league contest.

Hailie Kramer scored 16 and Natalie Whitmore 14 to lead Alexander.

Melissa Robinson and Paige Derisley each scored 7 and Ryan Olles 6 for Albion which next hosts Barker at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Pembroke 63, Medina 15
Building up a 22-5 first quarter lead, Pembroke went on to down visiting Medina 63-15 in a non league game as Serene Calderon and Dekari Moss both scored 13, Emily Peters 11 and Casey Wurtz 10.
