Fast start sparks Banes to third win
Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing erupted for five quick runs in the first inning to key an 8-1 victory over Just Us Monday to improve to 3-0 in Medina Women’s Softball League competition.
A double by Jami Chatt, along with singles by Connie Heschke, Sue Seefeldt, Patti Page and Hannah LaGrou, keyed the decisive uprising.
Heschke, Page and Chatt each finished with two hits and Jessica Carptener had a double.
Chasity Chinn hit a solo home run for Just Us.
