Jacob Miller had 2 hits, including a double, for Pembroke.

Barker next hosts Elba/Byron-Bergen in a non league game at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Notre Dame 4, Holley 3

Notre Dame rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull even and then pushed across the game winner in the eighth as the Irish nipped Holley 4-3 in a Genesee Region League game at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia.

A two-run double by Evan Bender highlighted Notre Dame’s seventh inning rally. A fielders choice play off the bat of Jake Wetherwax then plated the game winner in the eighth as an error set up the threat.

Holley had built up a 3-0 lead by scoring once in the first on an error and then once in both the fifth and sixth frames on passed balls.

Notre Dame is now 3-0 in the league and Holley 0-2.
