Fast start powers Pembroke past Holley

Jumping out to a 15 point first quarter lead, Pembroke went on to defeat visiting Holley 68-40 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Pembroke grabbed a 22-7 first period advantage and built the lead to a commanding 25 point, 44-19, margin by half-time.

Reid Miano took game high scoring honors with 16 and Ryan Cansdale netted 11 to lead the Dragons.

Dylan Hillabush scored 11 and Ryan Moseman 7 for Holley which slips to 0-3 in the league and 0-5 overall.

A pin by Elijah Sones was the lone win on the mat for Medina in the 49-30 non league loss at McQuaid. The Mustangs other 24 points came on four forfeit wins.
