Fast start powers Banes to victory
Erupting for a total of 10 runs in the first two innings, Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing went on to defeat Tower Tattoo 15-6 Monday in a Medina Softball League game.
Singles by Sue Seefeldt, Kathy Allen, Amy Allis, Robin Blaun, Lindsay Chatt and Patti Page, along with doubles by Jami Chatt and Lexi Neuman, helped Banes plate six quick runs in the first inning.
Singles by Connie Heschke, Allen and Blaun and a triple by Allis then drove in four more in the second inning.
Banes also scored four in the fourth on singles by Page, Jessica Carpenter and Seefeldt.
Allen finished with 4 hits, Seefeldt 3 and Allis 2 including a double.
Banes next game is June 10 at SHC against Kozy Kab.
