Fast start powers Albion past Holley

A big first inning scoring burst ignited Albion to a 20-0 win over visiting Holley in a non league game this afternoon.
Albion erupted for 6 runs in the first inning on a double by Javon Jones and singles by Jason Conn, Nathan Gibson, Caden Uderitz and Dallas Ecker.
The Purple Eagles then broke the contest wide open by exploding for 6 runs in the third inning and 7 more in the third. Conn, Jacob Hughson, Gibson, Ecker and Javon Jones all had hits in the second.
Four Albion pitchers – Javon Jones, Ecker, Amari Jones and Chris Sacco – combined to hurl a no hitter with a total of 11 strikeouts.
