Fast start keys Bane’s to first victory
A big seven run first inning scoring burst ignited Bane’s Machine Shop/ Bane’s Plumbing to a 12-3 victory over Just Us in a Medina Women’s Softball League game Monday evening.
Doubles by Sue Seefeldt, Robin Blaun, Amy Allis and Alisha Foss highlighted the decisive uprising which also included singles by Jami Chatt, Kathy Allen, Sarah Surdel, Patti Page and Jackie Davis.
Bane’s later added 4 big insurance runs in the sixth inning on doubles by Blaun and Jen Masse along with singles by Chatt, Allen and Allis.
Blaun, Masse, Allis and Page all finished with 3 hits as Banes improves to 1-2.
