Exploding for three goals in the first nine minutes, Medina went on to defeat host Cheektowaga 4-1 today as the Mustangs snapped a brief two game season opening losing streak.

Martha Gardner and Destiny Satkowski each scored a pair of goals for Medina which opens the Niagara-Orleans League season at home Friday against Akron.
