KNOWLESVILLE – The annual Family Game Night returns to Orleans County this evening at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Knowlesville.

Families are welcome to attend the 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. event at the Trolley Building and have dinner and play board games. The event is a chance to turn off technology and let families connect.

There will also be displays and booths about services for children in the county.

The new fire prevention trailer will also be available to see. That trailer has a fog machine, a heated door, and other features to help children and their families practice a fire escape from a building.

It costs $5 for a family of four or $3 for individualist attend Game Night. That includes dinner and a free board game for each family.

People are urged to register by calling the legislative office for the County Legislature at (585) 589-7053. Registering will help organizers plan for how much food to have at the event. However, people can also show up without an RSVP at the fairgrounds this evening.

There will also be drawings for prizes during the event.
